Are these wines good? “Yebo!” Yebo means “Yes” in Zulu and also has the dual meaning of “Hello” as a reply to “Sawubona”, which means “Greetings” in Zulu. “Yebo” has become a cross-cultural word of affirmation and agreement in South Africa. The YeboX BIB wines are a celebration of good times and great value, creating nothing but good vibes. Yebo! Some bang for your bucks in a box.

YEBOX White (3ltr Bag-in-box)

WINEMAKER’S COMMENT: Great freshness and weight. Herbaceous, Sauvignon Blanc charactersdominate, with impressive minerality. Characters of spring flowers with hints of honeysuckle expose Chenin Blanc’s presence followed by balanced, clean acids with floral notes and flavours of guava and melon. Mouth-feel identifies Chardonnay with its floral nose and undertones of fresh green apples.

YEBOX Red (3ltr Bag-in-box)

WINEMAKER’S COMMENT: A marriage of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot & 23% Shiraz creates a wine of balance – both in structure and fruit. The dark, black-currant fruit of Cabernet, with the lovely rich smoothness of Merlot, combined with the spicy- sweet Shiraz creates roundness and a full mouth-feel. A label meaning “Hi, how are you, all good?” in just one word, is a great conversation-starter.
